| I went through the switch with Joomla, from 1.0 to 1.5, and to my experience most of the best extensions took a very long time to catch up with the changes. Because of that, I expect Gallery3 will be limited to essential use for about a year after the production release is made available. Still, I hope I am wrong about this. I very much look forward to the final release. I tried the beta and am very impressed with it. |

You are right. I went through the switch as well and remember well the time a lost trying to install extension which did not work properly. But isn't it a specific matter of human beeings, that they loos interest on most things once they are set up. Even if the set up is a faulty one. Just think about microsoft ;-). Best thing we can hope is, that Gallery3 gets to a stable version, because it looks nice and is definately faster and easier to handle than Gallery2
